2011: Favorite Albums

While my opinion always has a great deal of bias, this year there were some unexpected wild cards who really made my take a closer and a repeated listen. However, my year end list is topped with my Queen, Miss Britney Spears who brought us her best work and my favorite album of all time (yea you read that right all time) with Femme Fatale. In my opinion it’s a start to finish pop masterpiece and I am glad to see that I am not the only one giving it the recognition it deserves. Second with another career best is Rihanna with Talk That Talk. With We Found Love just edging out Adele as the longest running number one of the year, Rihanna truly proved that there was no stopping her reign and did so with a flawless album encompassing everything that she has come to be to date. My third album is from none other than my Twitter boo, Wynter Gordon. Seriously though, With The Music I Die album is perfect dance music and I am so excited to see where her career grows to…one to watch. A notable mention in this list to me is Joe Jonas who had a great album in my opinion regardless of the poor sales figures from the overlooking public, and obviously Adele with enough album sales, radio play, and grammy nominations to remain self explanatory. However this is just my personal top 3, so those all have no real hold.
